Event Overview
High-tech disruptions of the past 50 years of the Information Age have brought unrivaled growth and change to the way we live, work, communicate and create. SEMI, the global industry association that represents the electronics manufacturing and design supply chain, was created by its members to help enable what has become the most productive half century in history – from putting the first man on the moon to putting smartphones in the hands of billions of consumers. Today, at the beginning of SEMI's 50th Anniversary, the industry is faced with unprecedented challenges that can either pause the economy or springboard us toward even faster growth for the next 50 years.
The Summit of the Legends and Emerging Leaders Program is bringing together some of the best and brightest thought leaders to address these challenges. Building on the amazing innovations of pioneers such as Gordon Moore, Bob Noyce and Jack Kilby, we will bring together forward-looking innovators and industry leaders from markets around the world.
If you’re reading this, you’ve likely had a front row seat for both the breakthroughs and stumbling blocks provided by technologies. We invite you to celebrate the Legends and emerging leaders who have enabled so much of the technology the world enjoys today. They and the current generation of visionaries will preview how our collective efforts will impact the planet’s future.
